Has anyone had this happen before and does anyone know a solution to getting at least some of the images back? I don't care if its free or if i have to pay, I just need to find a solution if possible! In hindsight, I will now be saving the files to my computer first, before I import them into Lightroom but I have done it both ways MANY times before and its never been an issue.

I have no idea what happened but I have tried SanDisk's Rescue Pro Deluxe, StellarPhoenixMacDataRecovery, Jihosoft Photo Recovery and none have been able to fix the issue. Some of the images were also saying the file size was Zero MB. The images still showed up as individual images and showed the file size but the dimensions would not show up in the preview along with the image preview. So I opened up the sd card on my mac and the first image was working but the rest would not load. I like to use Microsoft Outlook as I can automatically have it resize photos to smaller sizes without having to do any editing to the picture or waste any of my time.

When sending pics to family you obviously don't want to send the full size image unless they are intending to print them.
I of course, prefer using CS3 but Canon does a fine job. Will the Canon software convert them? I have not found out how.Ĭanon's software converts them to Jpeg fine. I want to convert them to jpeg's to send to friends or post on the web.
